Technical resources for UCD v2.0 Specification
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac published new and updated technical resources to support implementation of the Uniform Closing Dataset v2.0 Specification (UCD v2.0). As a reminder, the UCD v2.0 Initiative aims to provide clearer UCD XML file requirements to help sellers improve data quality. Be sure to review and analyze these supporting technical resources along with UCD v2.0 to prepare for necessary updates and testing.
Part of the Uniform Mortgage Data Program® (UMDP®), the Uniform Closing Dataset (UCD) is an ongoing effort by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to provide a common industry dataset supporting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) Borrower Closing Disclosure.
