Uniform Closing Dataset
Improving closing data integration and consistency
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the GSEs) have announced that the Uniform Closing Dataset (UCD) mandate dates will now be provided in Q4 2026, providing additional flexibility that recognizes the competing priorities facing industry partners. Resources have been updated to help lenders and technology service providers prepare for UCD v2.0 adoption and transition of Phase 3B Postponed and Phase 4 edits.
Part of the Uniform Mortgage Data Program® (UMDP®), the Uniform Closing Dataset (UCD) is an ongoing effort by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to provide a common industry dataset supporting the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) Borrower Closing Disclosure.
