Early Assessment
With Desktop Underwriter® (DU®) early assessment, you get the confidence that comes with a risk assessment and conditional recommendation during the pre-qualification process. All it takes is a single soft credit pull to check a borrower’s preparedness, available mortgage options, and key eligibility information — all without impacting their credit score.
Key benefits
Less impact to credit score
Using only a single soft-pull credit file, early assessment doesn’t impact a borrower’s credit score.
Earlier eligibility information
Get loan information, a conditional recommendation, and potential eligibility for a HomeReady® loan and value acceptance.
More efficient loan process
Use the same casefile ID from pre-qualification through loan application and delivery — for a more streamlined process.
