January 29, 2014 - This Announcement updates servicer incentive fees for repayment plans, short sales, and Mortgage Releases. The increased incentive fees will be in effect for mortgage loans that meet the stated criteria on and after March 1, 2014.

January 24, 2014 - This Announcement updates servicing policy on handling overcharges for special ARMs, accepting bankruptcy schedules of assets and liabilities in a Borrower Response Package, submitting foreclosure prevention cases for approval, and deducting appropriate third-party sales proceeds.

January 24, 2014 - Fannie Mae is updating its requirements for borrower notification of the interest rate adjustment for a mortgage loan that has been modified and is subject to step interest rate adjustments, including Fannie Mae HAMP Modifications. The Payment Change Notification Guidelines exhibit has also been updated.

January 8, 2014 - In Selling Guide Announcement SEL-2013-09, Pricing Update, Fannie Mae announced pricing changes as directed by the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA). On January 8, 2014, FHFA directed Fannie Mae to delay implementation of these changes until further notice.

December 19, 2013 - Announcement SEL-2013-10 describes policies pertaining to MBS margin thresholds, clarifications of higher-priced loan requirements and Ability to Repay Exempt Loans, and an updated RDC guide and Form 1003 instructions.

December 19, 2013 - This Announcement describes policy changes for servicing transfers, including the requirements to obtain prior written approval from Fannie Mae and to submit a Request for Approval of Servicing or Subservicing Transfer (Form 629). Also described is the scope of evaluations Fannie Mae will conduct on subservicers.

December 19, 2013 - Announcement SVC-2014-05 (dated March 28, 2014), Fannie Mae Standard Modification and Streamlined Modification Updates, replaces and supersedes Announcement SVC-2013-28 in its entirety.

December 18, 2013 - Fannie Mae is updating its requirements for lender-placed insurance, including acceptable costs and carriers. In addition, servicers must now certify their compliance with these requirements by submitting the Lender-Placed Insurance Compliance Certification (Form 202).

December 18, 2013 (distributed to reverse mortgage servicers only) - Servicers are no longer required to refer deed-in-lieu of foreclosure offers for Home Equity Conversion Mortgages to Fannie Mae for approval.

December 16, 2013 - Announcement SEL-2013-09 describes changes to guaranty fees, loan-level price adjustments, and the Adverse Market Delivery Charge. Both the LLPA Matrix and the Refi Plus LLPA Matrix have been updated.

December 11, 2013 - This Announcement updates certain maximum allowable bankruptcy and foreclosure attorney fees and other reimbursable expenses related to bankruptcy and foreclosure matters. Both the Allowable Bankruptcy Attorney Fees exhibit and the Allowable Attorney and Trustee Foreclosure Fees exhibit have also been updated.

December 10, 2013 - Fannie Mae has issued a lender letter focusing on appraiser selection, data quality issues, and new processes for appraiser monitoring, and has added messages in UCDP related to appraisals from specific appraisers.

December 4, 2013 - This Announcement updates policies pertaining to Cap and Extend Modifications for Disaster Relief, the Lender Record Information (Form 582), and the Servicing Guide Glossary.

November 26, 2013 - Confirmation of Conventional Loan Limits for 2014

November 25, 2013 - This Announcement updates policies related to short sale and Mortgage Release transactions, property valuation for loan modifications, appeals, and borrower inquiries. An updated Evaluation Model Clauses is posted to Fannie Mae's website.

October 30, 2013 - This Announcement updates servicing policy requirements related to insurance policy coverage of multiple unaffiliated projects, payment of principal forbearance for mortgage loan modifications, property inspection reimbursements, acknowledgment of escalated cases, and maintaining lender eligibility.

October 1, 2013 - Fannie Mae is providing temporary guidance on selling and servicing policies that may be impacted by the federal government shutdown.
