SMDU UI Payment Deferral Options User Guide
This user guide provides step-by-step instructions on using the Servicing Management Default Underwriter™ User Interface (SMDU™ UI) to perform a variety of actions related to payment deferral, disaster payment deferral and COVID-19 payment deferral workouts. These actions include:
- Submitting a mortgage loan to SMDU for evaluation
- Requesting Fannie Mae review
- Reporting the workout to Fannie Mae
To access these user guides, you must be registered and have the appropriate username and password credentials for accessing the SMDU UI.
