Announcement SEL-2026-10: Selling Guide Updates

In November, the Selling Guide updates include expanding housing opportunities through accessory dwelling units in condo projects; clarifying owner-occupancy policy to improve lender understanding and reduce misinterpretation; reorganizing Community Seconds and grants content to provide additional clarity and consistency; extending the use of VantageScore 4.0 to manually underwritten loans as well as loan casefiles underwritten through DU Version 12.1; and updating premium recapture policy for whole loans.
