Requirements if a Hybrid Appraisal is Obtained
Enter "Desktop Appraisal" in the Appraisal Method field when a loan is delivered with a desktop appraisal.
Note: Refer to the Selling Guide for eligible transaction criteria.

Note: A Hybrid Appraisal is an enhanced version of a desktop appraisal that includes property data collected by a trained and vetted third party (real estate agent, insurance inspector, appraiser, etc.) sent to an appraiser for consideration . Loans that do not qualify for value acceptance (appraisal waiver) or do not have reliable prior observations of the subject property are eligible for hybrid appraisals.
