MFA Enrollment

This job aid explains how to manage Multifactor Authentication (MFA) enrollment. Included in the enrollment are two options, Package 1 and Package 2. Top level administrators may select either option.

Follow these steps to select an MFA enrollment package:

  1. From the Dashboard, select Edit Company Configuration.

  2. Select the MFA Enrollment tab, then select Package 1 or Package 2.

    Email – Get an email with a security code at the email address registered with Fannie Mae.
    Text Message – Get a security code in an SMS text message.
    Automated Phone Call – Get a security code in an automated phone call.
    Security Key - Use a physical USB security key connected to your device.
    Third Party Authenticator – Get a code through an app such as Google or Microsoft Authenticator.

  3. To confirm package selection, select Continue.

  4. The MFA Update Response message appears at the bottom right corner of screen.
