Document Upload Naming Convention
In order for Loan Quality Connect to process uploaded files, documents must be formatted and named using these guidelines:
Upload Loan File via the Bulk Document Upload screen (single or multiple files)
- Loan files must be in a single .pdf format.
- Loan file names must start with the Fannie Mae Loan Number, followed by an underscore (_) and LoanFile as one word.
- In the case loan files are broken up in multiple .pdf files, number the files in a sequence i.e., LoanFile1, LoanFile2, etc...
Below are examples of how files must be named:
FannieMae Loan Number_LoanFile (123456789_LoanFile.pdf)
FannieMae Loan Number_Loan File1 (123456789_Loan File1.pdf)
Note: if documents are submitted via the Bulk Document Upload screen, adhere to the naming conventions examples above.
Upload Requested missing or Additional Document via the Bulk Document Upload screen (single or multiples documents)
Document names must start with the Fannie Mae Loan Number, followed by an underscore (_), and followed by one of the descriptions in the table below (Loan Quality Connect Allowable Document Names).

Note: It is highly recommended and preferred that above naming convention for loan files and documents is followed when uploading via the Tasks or Documents tab as well. The correct naming convention supports the file size up to 400 MB.
