Grant Access to an Application

This job aid explains how to enable a System ID’s access to a specific Fannie Mae technology application.

1. From the dashboard, select Manage System IDs.
   
   

2. The Manage System IDs screen appears. Select the System ID from the Password Managed or SSH Key Managed tab(s). You can filter the list using the Search fields. Select a row to select an existing System ID.
   
   

3. System Information appears. Select the Available Applications tab.
   
   

4. Select the application you want to assign to the system ID, then select Manage Access.
   
   

5. The Set Up System ID Access screen appears. In the Roles section, select the role(s) you want to assign to the System ID, then select the  Add Arrow to move the folder to the Assigned Roles section.
   
   

Note: If the Roles section does not appear on the screen, you can proceed to the next step.

6. In the Data Folder section, select which data folder(s) the user will be able to access from the Accessible Data Folders list, then select the  Add Arrow to move the folder to the Assigned Data Folders section. Select Submit.
   
   

7.  A confirmation window appears. Select CONTINUE to save your changes.
   
   

8. The Update Success message appears.
