STAR Recognition

The STAR Program uses both scorecard performance metrics and operational assessment results to determine servicer recognition. Servicer recognition is determined by applying performance results against the SCF for each Process Area in each of the three program categories.

Servicers are eligible for STAR Performer recognition for each program category — 1) General Servicing, 2) Solution Delivery, and 3) Timeline Management — in which they met the inclusion criteria.

STAR Performer recognition is awarded to STAR Servicers who remain in good standing throughout the program year in addition to demonstrating consistent performance across the scorecard metrics and STAR Review results for the associated Process. Consideration is given to STAR servicers who apply strategies for engaging with homeowners and Fannie Mae that demonstrates a commitment for improved performance outcomes.

STAR Performer recognition is earned with the benefit of public recognition and may be withheld at Fannie Mae's discretion.
