Using Basic and Advanced Search

The search function allows you to find requests by entering specific loan details and can be more efficient than scrolling through the request list. You can perform a basic search or an advanced search. Use the basic search when you know the Fannie Mae, Seller, Servicer, and/or Responsible Party loan numbers. Use the advanced search when you have other loan details to search, or when you want to find multiple loans with common characteristics.

Using the Basic Search

Follow these steps to use the basic search option:

1. Select Search from the top ribbon. The Search Results screen appears.

Note: Selecting Search from the top ribbon defaults to the basic search option.

2. Enter the desired loan number(s) and click Search.

The request appears under the search window.

Using the Advanced Search Option

Follow these steps to use the advanced search option:

1. Select Search from the top ribbon. The Search Results screen appears.

Note: Selecting Search from the top ribbon defaults to the Basic search option.

2. Click the Advanced tab. A search window opens and displays multiple search criteria, including drop-down menus for Review Type, Review Status, and Property State.

3. Enter the desired information and click Search.

The loan or loans meeting the search criteria you entered appear under the search window.

Using Queue Search

The queue search option is also available. This search function should be used when you are trying to find an open task for a specific loan number.

Follow these steps to use the queue search:

1.  Click the Search button found on the screen below the BI cards.
   
   
   
   The search window opens and displays search parameters.
2. Enter search criteria into any of the text fields and/or select from the Request Type, Document Type, or Document Request Reason drop-down menus.

3. Click Search.
   
   
   The loan or loans meeting the search criteria appear under the search window.
