Business Intelligence (BI) Cards

Business Intelligence (BI) cards are found at the top of the screen on most pages in Loan Quality Connect. They offer a visual representation of the different tasks in the review process as they move along a timeline to completion. Timelines for most tasks are established in the Selling Guide and known as service level agreements or SLAs. An SLA is the total number of days you have to complete the task. Each BI card shows a count for the task described in relation to its SLA time frame.  (For more information on SLAs, see Service Level Agreements (SLAs)).

Below is an example of the BI cards that appear on the Request Queue when the Lender Document Technician logs in. They show the number of loan files requested that are outside-, near-, and in SLA. Notice the total number of loans is also displayed for each BI card. In the example below, there are 32 loan file requests, 22 defective loan files, and 91 document requests.

Loan Quality Connect is a task-based system. Lender roles display unique BI cards based on a specific role. The purpose of the cards is the same regardless of your roles(s). They allow you to determine at a glance how to prioritize your workflow with regard to your SLA obligations and take action on loans within particular SLA time frames.

All BI cards function alike. When you click one of the circles or a number within the circle, a filtered list of loans displays below the circles. To view a loan from the list, select it and then click the View button or simply double-click the loan.

Take Action from the BI Cards

You can drill down to view or work on the loans in each BI card by following the steps below. Although the example shows BI cards for the Lender Document Technician role, the steps work the same for all BI cards and every role.

  1. Click the Outside SLA, Near or In SLA circle or the number within the circle on one of the BI cards. The loans that meet that criteria appear below the cards.

Click Circle and Loans in that SLA Populate
  2. Use the scroll feature to move through a large number of loans more easily.

    Scroll through Loans
  3. Choose a loan from the list and click View or double-click the loan number to display the loan details.

    Select Loan > View

The Loan Details screen appears with the Summary tab open and showing loan details for the selected loan.
  4. Click Tasks to view open requests and completed actions for the selected loan. Or click one of the other tabs to obtain information about the loan review.

Note: See Loan Details Tabs, Explained for an explanation of each of the tabs available in the Loan Details screen.
