Getting Started

All wire instructions are administered via the “Wire Details” tab within the Loan Delivery application. This tab can be found within a user’s “Seller Profile”.

NOTE: Only users with the LD_Manage_Wires roll (administered through the Technology Manager application) have access to add or modify wire instructions. Users without the LD_Manage_Wires roll will only be able to view wire instructions and will not be able to edit.

Administering Your Instructions

Once you access the "Wire Details" tab, you need to open the "Edit Wire" window to set up your wire instructions.

Follow these steps to access the "Edit Wire" window:

  1. Log in to Loan Delivery using your Fannie Mae credentials.

  2. Select Seller Profile, Wire Details, plus sign to expand wire, and Edit.


Wire Details Tab

The list below describes each of the columns associated with the Wire Details tab.

Column Heading Description
Nickname Unique name created by lender - up to 30 character alphanumeric value
Wire Type Identifies the wire as Cash or Security
Warehouse Lender Lists the name of the Warehouse Lender assigned to the wire, if applicable
Disbursement Agent Lists the name of the Disbursement Agent assigned to the wire, if applicable
Receiver Type Identifies the type of wire: Seller, Warehouse Lender, or Disbursement Agent
Status Status of wire: Pending, Rejected, or Active - loans can only be delivered if wires are in an ACTIVE status in the new certification process   Note: If a wire is associated to a warehouse lender or disbursement agent, the wire must be approved by that organization to be in ACTIVE status.

NOTE: If a column does not apply to your setup, it will be intentionally left blank.
